THE BARCELONA BOAT SHOW BRINGS TOGETHER THE BEST OF THE NAUTICAL COMMUNITY
The Barcelona International Boat Show is doubling down on its commitment to enhancing the quality of its exhibition by showcasing top national and international brands, alongside new sectors and experiential areas, with the aim of bringing the entire nautical community together. With 170 direct exhibitors, over 300 represented brands, and more than 200 vessels, this 63rd edition cements the event's status as a benchmark in Spain and one of the most important boat shows in Europe.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), the show will take place from October 14 to 18. It will feature a wide selection of vessels of all sizes from major brands, as well as the most extensive display of catamarans on the European boat show circuit.

For this edition, the Moll de la Fusta and Marina Port Vell docks will host a strong lineup of leading national and international industry firms. These companies will unveil their latest products in an environment defined by innovation and sustainability—both on the water and on land.
The event features prestigious firms and shipyards such as the Beneteau Group—a French company and global leader in recreational boat manufacturing—which will showcase its Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, and Excess brands, covering both power and sail categories. Joining the group will be companies such as Mercury, Fjord, Bluegame, Navan, Quicksilver, Sea Ray, and X-Yachts.
It is also worth noting the return of high-end sailboat brands like Oyster, Amel, and YYachts to the Barcelona Boat Show after an absence of several years. Another highlight is the significant presence of Spanish shipyards—such as Amura, Kattum, Lema, and Pantiera—that are designing highly innovative models. In addition, firms such as Aventura, Bali, De Antonio Yachts, Dufour, Girbau, Highfield, Honda, Karnic, Kawasaki, Kumbra, Leopard, Level, Maxim, Pardo, Pirelli, Raymarine, Sasga, Saxdor, and Sunreef are participating, creating one of the best and most diverse lineups seen in recent years.
BOATS ON WATER AND LAND
Among the more than 200 vessels in this year’s on-water and on-land displays is a world premiere—the 19.65-meter YYachts Y6 sailboat—as well as a national debut: the YOT 53 catamaran, featuring twin outboard engines. Eight boats nominated for the European Yacht of the Year awards will also be on display.
The event will feature vessels of all sizes, including 14 boats exceeding 16 meters in length; highlights include the Amel 50.2, Cranchi 62 LAI, Pearl 63, and Beneteau First 60.
The Port Vell docks will also host a significant number of boats on land, with models such as the Bayliner C21 OB, Williams Jet Tender-Turbo Jet 280 MX, Tiger Infinity 280, and Highfield UL 240.
Show President Luis Conde stated, "We are looking at one of the best editions in recent years, offering an exceptional lineup in terms of quality, model diversity, and range of sizes. We are particularly proud that leading industry brands are reinforcing their commitment to Barcelona. Furthermore, we are introducing new areas and experiences that make the show a major meeting point for anyone looking to discover, buy, or enjoy the nautical world."
NEW SECTORS AND EXPERIENCES
The Moll de la Fusta will host two of this year's major new features. Under the "SeaMotion" banner, it will house "Experience Water"—a new zone for on-the-water demonstrations of products and accessories—and the Indoor Pavilion, which will feature two new themed areas. The first, "Marinas & Harbour Facilities," will highlight the role of marinas as key infrastructure for the nautical sector and marine tourism, involving the direct and indirect participation of over 240 port facilities. The second, "Diving, Shopping & Water Sports," will promote scuba diving, water sports, and the nautical lifestyle among both professionals and enthusiasts.
For this edition, the Boat Show is also reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainable boating. To this end, it will introduce a new area, the "Innovation Dock," showcasing a range of 100% electric vessels and gadgets. This space will combine an onshore exhibition area with on-the-water demonstrations, offering visitors a comprehensive look at new nautical mobility solutions designed to eliminate polluting emissions and noise pollution.
Furthermore, the program of sea trials aimed at potential boat buyers will be expanded, with the goal of facilitating purchasing decisions and cementing the Barcelona Boat Show’s status as the leading European event for such experiences. In this context, the Boat Show will also host the classic Barcelona International Rowing Trophy.
Finally, the event’s culinary offerings will be located at the Marina Port Vell pier—featuring various high-quality bars and restaurants as well as a networking and hospitality zone—and at the Moll de la Fusta, which will host two new dining areas. Event director Josep Antoni Llopart stated, "For this edition, we want to bring together the entire nautical community; we have therefore curated a broad-ranging program designed to appeal to everyone from prospective boat buyers to those wishing to get started in the exciting world of boating."
CONGRESS AND INDUSTRY
Regarding the professional program, Marina Port Vell will host the show's conference series—known as "Ágora Port" and coordinated by the Port of Barcelona and the Barcelona Nautical Cluster—from October 14 to 16. Over the course of three days, 25 speakers will address topics across nine sessions, including professional training in the nautical sector, the relationship between ports and cities, new consumption patterns in recreational boating, and the future of adaptive boating.
Meanwhile, Jordi Carrasco, Director General of ANEN, explains: "The nautical sector is undergoing a transformation, facing challenges such as competitiveness, training, sustainability, and new ways of accessing the activity. The Barcelona show is a key venue for gauging the pulse of the industry and sharing corporate perspectives on the major challenges and opportunities arising in this new landscape."
In this context, the Spanish recreational boat market closed the January–August period with a total of 4,371 registrations, representing 7% growth compared to the same period in 2025, according to ANEN data based on records provided by the Directorate General of the Merchant Marine.
