RODMAN GROUP: FIVE DECADES OF EXCELLENCE IN SHIPBUILDING

With a track record spanning nearly five decades, Rodman has proven to be more than just a shipyard: it is an institution in European shipbuilding that combines industrial tradition, technological innovation, and a global vision to continue writing its success story.

The Rodman Group was established in 1974 when Manuel Rodríguez founded Rodman Construcciones Navales e Industriales, launching a journey that would see it become the longest-standing Spanish company in its sector. With nearly 50 years of continuous operation, the company has demonstrated an unparalleled ability to adapt and establish itself firmly within the Iberian market.

The milestone that best illustrates this track record is impressive: over 15,000 vessels built and delivered at the Group’s shipyards. This wealth of experience has enabled Rodman to position itself as one of Europe’s most established shipbuilding groups, earning a reputation built on quality standards, superior safety, and excellent seaworthiness.

A VERSATILE AND DISTINCTIVE OFFERING

The Rodman Group's competitive strength lies in its ability to offer the most diversified and versatile product range in the sector. Its shipyards produce a wide variety of vessels, ranging from GRP patrol boats up to 42 meters in length to steel ships reaching 170 meters, as well as professional fishing vessels and a comprehensive line of recreational craft.

Rodman’s production structure is organized around three strategic divisions:

• Steel vessels: Focused on professional applications and large-displacement ships

• Professional marine: Patrol boats, fishing vessels, and workboats

• Recreational marine: Available in four distinct ranges—Rodman VENTURA, EVOLUTION, MUSE, and SPIRIT—designed to cater to different market segments.

ROBUST INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE

The Group’s production capacity rests on a substantial industrial foundation. Rodman operates three facilities located on both banks of the Vigo Estuary, covering a total industrial area of 162,000 m², of which 43,000 m² is under cover. This infrastructure comprises:

• Metalships & Docks (Vigo)

• Rodman Polyships (Moaña)

• Neuvisa (Moaña)

GLOBAL AMBITION

Rodman currently has a presence in over 60 countries across five continents—ranging from Germany and the United Kingdom in Europe to China and Japan in Asia, alongside a significant footprint in the Middle East and Latin America. This international expansion is driven by a clear strategy: to become a global leader in the sector.

Its solid financial foundation and successful track record enable the company to pursue an ambitious expansion project, cementing its position as one of the most trusted suppliers in the global marine industry.
