The Italian shipyard introduces a 39.65-meter superyacht combining 7,800 HP sports performance with highly flexible layout options, tailor-made luxury interiors for family living, and an exterior design that maximizes direct connection with the sea.

Viareggio, Italy. AB Yachts, a brand under Next Yacht Group, has presented the third unit of the exclusive AB 130. This 39.65-meter vessel reinterprets the shipyard's high-performance DNA through a fully customized project tailored to an experienced owner's lifestyle.

Delivering a combined output of 7,800 HP and a top speed of 41 knots, the yacht blends high-performance engineering with an interior and exterior layout centered on family living, space adaptability, and maximum comfort for both guests and crew.

SPATIAL INNOVATION AND DIRECT OCEAN CONNECTION

Fully developed in-house by the shipyard, the project provides seamless continuity across its decks:

Main Deck: Features a 63-square-meter main salon merging living and dining areas into a single open-plan space. The aft section offers a versatile outdoor haven with sunbeds, alfresco dining, and a jacuzzi. A key highlight is the 30-square-meter swim platform, expandable via two folding side wings (adding 6 m² each), alongside a double garage for tenders and water toys.
Adaptable Lower Deck: The 36-square-meter owner's suite includes a walk-in closet and flexible layout arrangements. Guest accommodation features two VIP cabins and a twin guest cabin, all with en-suite bathrooms. A standout feature is a 12-square-meter media and playroom equipped with natural skylighting and padded leather wall trim, designed to seamlessly transition into a gym or private study over time.
Crew Quarters: The galley and informal crew dining area share the same high-end materials and finishes found in guest areas, emphasizing crew well-being and visual harmony.
Four-in-One Flybridge: A 58-square-meter sundeck incorporating a custom-designed exterior helm station, alfresco dining for up to 10 guests, a panoramic lounge bar, and a spacious sunbathing zone. This layout proved so successful that it serves as the blueprint for the fourth AB 130 unit, currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in early 2027.

PREMIUM CRAFTSMANSHIP AND CUSTOM MATERIALS

The interior design highlights exquisite material curation: Alcantara upholstery, pearlescent lacquer accents, hallway columns in backlit onyx, light-brown parquet flooring, and a bespoke travertine marble dining table. Master and guest suites feature Emperador marble accents and custom headboards crafted with three-dimensional leather stitching by Marine Leather.

PROPULSION AND PERFORMANCE

The AB 130 is powered by triple MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines (2,600 HP each), paired with two steerable MJP waterjets and a central MJP booster, ensuring agile handling at its top speed of 41 knots.

Built with a composite hull and superstructure, the vessel features gyroscopic stabilizers (functional both underway and at anchor) and offers an approximate cruising range of 450 nautical miles. The yacht is also pre-arranged for SCR selective catalytic reduction systems to support cleaner navigation.
